HubPages + Facebook + Twitter = Free Easy Traffic
68
There are quite a few different ways to share your HubPages via social media sites. Two of the ones I am going to cover in response to this HubRequest: Please I need help with getting traffic to my hub and linking to facebook, twitter etc are Facebook and Twitter. My guess is this question was asked because of the new box that shows up at the top of your Hubs when you publish a new one (see image to the right). I've recently had some experience using the two with HubPages and thought I'd share how to use them both.

HubPages and Facebook
- Join Facebook
If you haven't created an account with Facebook yet, simply click on the above link to join and start sharing your HubPages for free traffic. - HubPages Profile Page on Facebook
Become a Fan of HubPages on Facebook. You will be notifie of updates by HubPages on your Facebook Home page. - Join HubPages Group on Facebook
Meet or link up with fellow Hubbers on Facebook. You can see updates by your fellow Hubbers and vote, comment on each others walls, etc.
I am going to start with Facebook just because I already opened that window. For starters you need to get signed up with Facebook if you aren't already. Once you've joined and logged in, you first want to visit theHubPages profile page and maybe add something to the Wall or see what everyone is commenting on. Also, be sure to head over to the HubPages Group. You can also link up with fellow Hubbers there. The HubPages Profile is a little more fun and interactive than the group page.
Next, while still on Facebook, be sure to install the Twitter application to your Facebook. That way all of your tweets about the #HubChallenge will be updated on your Facebook page as well. Note: All your other Tweets will show also (I believe you can customize it someway though, haven't played with it much).
Now on to Twitter. If you haven't already joined the Twitter craze, what are you waiting for, jump on it now. You can then check out Twitter on Facebook, but even better, follow HubPages (aka HubPagesDOTcom) on Twitter & even the HubChallenge.
Another really neat thing you can do with Twitter is add tweets using Twitwall. If you love Twitter, but want a way to spice it up with pics and longer tweets, Twitwall is definitely the way to go. And the secret bonus: if you are looking for more traffic, use anchored links in your Twitwall Tweets for do-follow backlinks! Twitter doesn't do that... (shhhhhh!)
Be sure to check out my Twitwall below.

You can follow HubPages aka HubPagesDOTcom on Twitter to get updates - great for the #HubChallenge! - Twitwall
belief713 on Twitwall. You can include pics and longer descriptions with Twitwall. Also comment on or Retweet (RT) your Twitwall posts. You also get free do-follow links... (shhhhh!)

Another way to get tons of traffic is to retweet in twitter. There is a tweeter application called http://retweet.it that you can go to get credits to retweet.

good article,
thanks for info
Informative article! I've found I can also get some hits from stumbleupon.com if I put my hubs in my favorites. To continue to drive traffic there, you have to have a really great hub. Overall, I find facebook and twitter to be the best.

if you make a free group on facebook , updated with your twitter account , and vise versa for twitter with facebook
you will get tons of free traffic
but hubpages, can't permit linking to your external links so i think hard to get traffic from it
